On June 4th 2009, a huge line up of celebrities attended the Cinema Society’s screening of The Hangover film at the Soho Grand in New York.

Gerard Butler; Amy Sacco, Zach Braff, Caroline Rhea, Paula Abdul and various other celebrities attended the event.
Amy Sacco was happy to chat with the press and media. Unfortunately she was hooked into a conversation regarding a bad review that a journalist had made about her club: Bungalow 8.

Gerard Butler, a friend of Amy Sacco, saw that Amy was not entirely comfortable with the conversation. Therefore, Gerry stepped over to ask what was going on? Amy Sacco replied “I’m just talking about some asshole blogger”. Gerry was not happy with the situation and was willing to defend her by looking sternly at the journalists near by and queried if it was them who was giving her grief? His specific words were ‘Is it you?’.

Fortunately, Amy quickly clarified the situation by telling him that it was some other guy.

In summary, Gerard Butler is a willing hero in real life especially if there is a perceived damsel in distress involved.

Anyway, the event was a great success. All the celebrities and guests at the event had a great time throwing back free drinks at the swanky venue.

The Hangover movie is scheduled for released on the 12th June 2009 in the UK and is out now in the USA.
