Gerard Butler celebrated his 40th Birthday at a club called China White in London on the 13th November 2009.
Gerard Butler shared the celebration with his close friends and family.
The celebration continued the following day back home in Glasgow with his family and his favourite niece. His niece stole most of the lime light as it was a joint birthday party.
It has been an amazing 40 years for Gerard Butler. Earlier this month, GQ awarded Gerard Butler with Man of the Year Award 2009 to mark his contribution in the world of film and entertainment.Gerard Butler was very honored to receive this meaningful award. Gerard Butler remains a bit shy about his age, as can be seen in a recent interview with Jonathan Ross.
He is probably shy because we live in a society that doesn’t value aging and life experience as much as we should. It is especially true in the world of celebrity.
Fortunately, societal values are changing gradually as we are increasingly living in an aging society. Hopefully we will reach a point where everyone would feel comfortable and proud of their age, as each year is truly, a blessing.
